Weed Butter

Making weed butter is the simplest way of incorporating cannabis into your thanksgiving meal. Here's a simple recipe to make some delicious homemade weed butter


Ingredients:

- One stick of unsalted Butter (room temperature)
-¼ cup or about 56 grams of grinded Up Buds/Trimmed Shake
-One tablespoon water
-One teaspoon salt

Directions:

1. Mix all ingredients together in bowl with hand mixer.
2. Let sit for minimum 30 minutes before using on toast, veggies etc...
3. Best served at room temp! Enjoy responsibly :)

Smoked Turkey with Cannabis-infused Gravy

 

Ingredients:


-Turkey, 12-14 lbs. (Remove the neck and giblets from the cavity of the turkey.)
-¼ cup cannabis butter (½ stick) or ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
-Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
2. Rinse a thawed or fresh turkey inside & out with cold water;
3. pat dry thoroughly with paper towels.
4. Salt & pepper the cavity of the bird then place lemon halves as well as herb sprigs in it for added flavor during roasting process
5. In a small saucepan over medium heat melt together cannabis butter and flour stirring constantly until thickened about five minutes
6. Remove pan from heat add milk slowly while whisking constantly until smooth
7. Return pan to stove and bring mixture back to a boil stirring frequently, reduce heat and simmer for five minutes
8. Remove from heat add salt & pepper.
9. Brush turkey with cannabis butter sauce coating it thoroughly over the entire surface of the bird
10. Place in oven on lowest rack and roast at 450 degrees F.
11. Baste every 45 minutes For best results allow one hour per pound roasting time Turkey should reach an internal temperature of 180-185 degree F measured by inserting meat thermometer into thickest part of inner thigh
12. Quarter hour before turkey is done brush top surface again with remaining cannabis butter brushing evenly covering all parts of turkey Allow turkey to rest for 20 minutes before serving with gravy.

Grilled Salmon Fillets Stuffed with Weed Butter

Ingredients:


-0.06 ounces cannabis butter (14 grams) softened at room temperature or in microwave
-Olive oil for brushing on salmon fillets and drizzling over finished dish if desired
-Salt & pepper to taste (optional)

Directions :


1. Preheat grill pan over medium high heat until very hot
2. Brush both sides of each filet with olive oil
3. Sprinkle lightly salt, pepper and any other seasonings you like
4. Scoop out a small amount from your bowl of herb butter using the backside of spoon Place scooped-out weed butter into palm then place one piece salmon onto center
5. Keeping the hand holding fish gently but firmly closed press excess infused cannabis butter evenly all around edges
6. Spread some more on top until it looks thick enough to hold the fish together
7. Carefully transfer to grill pan and leave it on for about three minutes then flip over carefully
8. Grill another two minutes or until salmon is cooked through
9. Remove from heat Serve with your favorite sides

Cannabis Coleslaw

Ingredients:


-Salad greens blend, enough for a crowd
-Shredded carrots ( I use food processor)
-Red cabbage finely shred or shredded with a knife.
You can also buy pre made slaw mix that has both in it already. Either is fine but red cabbage adds more color to the salad and if you are trying to impress your families this holiday season since now cannabis infused foods are legal at dispensaries near me then go all out! If not no big deal move on down the list.. :)

Directions :


1.In large bowl combine carrots, coleslaw mix or red cabbage as well as dressing of choice I prefer oil & vinegar because its lower calories than other options
2.Add salt & pepper to taste Mix thoroughly making sure all ingredients are combined and coated completely with dressing Garnish as desired

Vegan Marijuana Stuffing

Ingredients:

-Cannabis butter (about a stick)
-Whole loaf of bread for stuffing, any you prefer I use sourdough but white is fine also.
-Onion chopped finely or one cup if using pre made diced onion.
Again make it as fancy or simple as you like!

Directions :

1. In large pan melt cannabis butter over medium heat
2. Add onions and cook until translucent stirring occasionally about five minutes
3. Remove from heat allow to cool slightly
4. Cut pieces of bread off the end then cut in cubes and place into bowl with cooled onions
5. Using your hands gently mix ingredients together making sure all chunks are coated completely with cannabis infused butter
6. Place mixture into baking dish that has been sprayed down with nonstick cooking oil Cover tightly either with aluminum foil or lid and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
7. Remove from oven, remove top cover and fluff with fork Sprinkle fresh parsley over the top if desired


Beef Wellington with Cannabis Cream Sauce

Ingredients:


- Thawed puff pastry dough
- Pre cooked beef tenderloin filet, enough for each person you are feeding. I use two per person but it is up to you! If the meat is frozen let sit in fridge overnight so its not rock hard

Directions :

1. Preheat oven according to package directions on thawed pastry sheet
2. Unwrap and lay out flat
3. Place seasoned beef fillets in center of pastry leaving at least two inches around all edges
4. Brush cannabis butter over exposed parts then fold dough over into a square shape
5. Use fork tines or fingers to seal edges
6. Cut small slits into top of pasty with knife
7. Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown
8. Remove from oven Allow fifteen minutes before slicing
9. Serve warm with creamy sauce drizzled over the top
